Did you mean to say Tokico Blues? Because those are OEM replacements, and also because Skunk2's sport shocks are meant to work with their standard lowering springs...and their EF rates are 559/485, significantly stiffer than stock.

koni str.t is the best $300/set shock i know of at the moment. also the only low cost shock with a lifetime warranty. plenty on ebay for $299 shipped in most apps. by far a better shock than the sub oem tokico hp and gr2's. i'm really not kidding, a stock gsr shock has more rebound than the hp's

I know I cant find a full set at all? But now I am stuck again. B/c if I get the skunk2 I gotta get dif control arms. I dunno what I should do. I might just by two front of something for now and then rears at a later time. I dunno what this guys talking about a set of str.t's b/c I cannot find a set for my life.

im just curious as to why they only sell the rear koni str-t shocks and not the front ones for the 88-91 civic...seems they have them listed as part (8050-1045) but they aren't available for purchase not even from the koni website...they only sell the rears which are (8050-1012)...!!!

I have Tokico Blues on my EF Hatch with 700lb springs, with the front coil sleeves shaved down a half inch, and on one spring seat still on, and in the rear it's just the coil spring.. It's super low and rides great. Awesome corner machine, really stuff when you need it, but not to stuff once you get used to it. Or if it's not your DD I'm sure you could love with it the few times you drive it

Skunk2 sport shocks. They work great when used with drop springs. They also work pretty ok with most off the shelf sleeve-type coilovers.

Personally speaking, the Koni Str.t is a great entry level shock for the price. I have mine w/ the eibach pro kit and it's just right for my dd. Polyurethane bushings and spring isolators make all the difference too.

Have you considered a different hobby? Or at least a different car... $400 seems outrageous to you but so does asking for trustworthy suspension for $100 a corner. Please just stop doing what you are doing all together.
