I have a 95 civic cx dropped on GC and tokico blues. Everytime i hit a uneven pravement, the steering gets really loose and feels like its gonna lose control. The car comes with no power steering, the car is aligned with prefect camber because I have a camber kit. Any thoughts? I think it might be the rack and pinion?

yes i notice this to...if im going and i hit a pothole theni feels like my car is going to lose control and im going to spin out or something

what are you spring rates? are you tires properly inflated? have you checked your bushings?

they are integra spring rates, dunno, i just got them for free when my friend totaled his GSR. I do have a B18C1 and full system in the back so i think that should equal an integras weight distribution. My tires are at 32 PSI all the time. which bushing do i have to check

Get under the car and poke around with a pry bar.

A buddy of mine I worked with was complaing of hard to control characteristics under really hard braking. COme to find out, we get under his car after work, and his inner LCA bushings were completely shot. They were just sloppy. Check around to worn bushings for sure! It's often times overlooked

that reminds me of my car.. i have a 92 hatch... and it has NO power steering what so ever... super hard to turn... but ever since i put air in my front tires, it became supe loose... like a loose power steering... and when i do hit bumps it does feel like i'm gonna lose control.. my front tires are at like 49 PSI or something... maybe u should check ur tire inflation..

49 psi is kinda high dude. keep it at 30-35. shouldnt go more than 40.

Look at the upper and lower balljoints and wheel bearings as well. I like the suggestion of poking around with a prybar...just be careful to not destroy any balljoint boots.

uuuuh - no

if anything you are worsening the handling of the car by putting a bunch of weight in the back

FF cars should have about 65/35 weight distribution.

Check all suspension components too.
