quick question on assembly!!

Default quick question on assembly!!

So i installed my ground controls today.. followed all the instructions used the correct rubber gromets for the shock ive installed ground controls like 5 times now. lol but when i got done . i had noticed a noise.. so i poped the cover off to notice.. the shock was purtruding out of the top hat by about 3 inches. now could this bc bc i didnt install this ring back.. for the bump stop im pretty sure i did.. im just tryin to figure it out im a take it all off tommorow and look.. just curious

what the hell? what are you talking about "little ring right before the bumpstop"?? there should be nothing below the bumpstop.

you obviously messed up the bumpstop plate. its a thick washer that has a goldish color and is shaped to fit the taper on the shock rod.

redo your whole suspension. immediately.

i forgot to put that back on.. so its not a good idea to drive to work? just wait and redo it tommorow i reckon.. ill get a ride to work.

thanks a ton! ill be sure to do that ASAP tommorow.. is the car safe.. like on thr ground not moving? there oem shocks.. so im not worried about them blowing theyll be AGXS on the way soon

itll be fine sitting there.

just dont drive on it. it will push the shock completely past the top mount without the bumpstop plate (#14).

got it all apart and etc.. noticed that the bushing UNDER the top hat was missing ordered a bushing kit at work and will install 2moro! hah thanks
