Default Question for those with aftermarket brake calipers...

Do you always use the same manufacturer replacement pads or do other companies make pads that are compatible with various calipers. For example, do they make EBC pads for Spoon Calipers, Hawk pads for Endless calipers, etc. I just really want to know if I'm pretty much stuck buying Endless brake pads for my calipers every time. Any insight would be much appreciated.

You may be somewhat limited in the pad compounds available for aftermarket brakes, with a reduction in the number of available street-frendly pads in favor of more race oriented pads. Still, many friction companies make pads other than just oem-style, with fitments for, say, Wilwood calipers as an example.

I did notice that a lot of companies designs are very similar to each other in terms of aftermarket calipers. I guess this is where trial and error come into play now. This should be interesting.
