my front left pops sometimes when i take off or turn too. i think it is just because of the pressure but im not sure. i did however tighten the strut back up and it stopped the problem when turning, still does it when i take off though.

I dont know if its just yr/make/model problem but I had a set on my 94 and it never made any noises, you might want to double check your install maybe you forgot to center the perch on the strut and lock it in with the allen screws supplied in the kit

It may have to do with the Mac strut upper mounts used on those cars. I know there was a TSB about early 7th gen Civics and RSX's doing that even with stock springs, but I'm not sure if that would be the case on a 2005 model.

I have also heard this. It may also be the position that your spring is in. Next time you have the car in the air, try turning your spring 180% and see if this helps. May be useless but I've heard it works.

did you forget to take off the top mount bearing from the stock spring perch?

their is a bearing underneath that, take it off and put it in between the top mount and the gold plate and the popping noise will go away

The spring tension may not be enough to turn the bearing plate. ALOT of these model hondas make the pop. On my buddies em2 I put spring rubbers on the top of the springs and they still move but you dont hear a pop.
