I figured this was relevant:

This one starts out he thinks his function/form sleeves are cracked, and several users chime in reporting that several Function/form units are leaking:

I have had type 1's for the past 6 months and within that time frame, both front shocks have completely given out. I now have a set of Progress coils and they're solid. They feel much better then the F&F's. I'm very pleased.

I have a set of the older aluminum body series I coilovers and they have lasted since 2003. Spring rate and damper are perfectly matched for an amazingly balanced ride with sporty performance.

When I opened the box, I noticed some oil dampness on the box holding one of the front coilovers. This is my first time buying a set and from my knowledge, could it be a bad seal? The box seemed to be in good shape like it hasn't been dropped, but just concerned before I install them.

^^ I got quoted

Ive had the 350/350 set on my car now for several months and they are very good still. On this same car i previously ran KYB Agx w/ Ground Controls and i prefer the Progress setup. I live in the mountains of north georgia and drive curvy roads every day and they are fantastic. The shocks are tuned for the springs so dont let the lack of rebound adjustability deter you.

I do believe that the 350/250 set would be to soft.

If you bought F&F for looks you deserve everything that's about to happen to you. Especially no one is really going to see them unless they're on their backs on the asphalt. Post #26, filled with "customer testimonials", should have convinced you to go another route.

yea, exactly, I'm actually really glad I've been reading up, this has made my suspension search for my 600hp teg come to an end.. I guess I'm going with progress with the 350/500 (not a dd, just my weekend toy), and we'll see how she launches then... after actually reading every post, it really seems progress has their **** together
