Default does disk break conversion effect shock fitment?

ok, so my friend gots a DC integra and he's going to sell me all 4 of his disk breaks for $450. (he's going 5 lug) I'm going to put it in my EK. i was wondering if i swap all disk breaks, will i need new shocks so that they can fit? i don't know if i will have to buy integra shocks or not. and i was told i need a 4040 prop valve instead of the 3040 one that i most likely have. people say that the EX model comes with 4040 but i think that's only the SI. I have a 1997 civic EX coupe. well thanks people for your time viewing my ridiculous noob question.

So what does that have to do with the question? Disk brake conversions do not affect the shock or LCAs. All you have to do is look at the parts and see that.

it's affects both if you're putting a da integra or ef rear disc swap... if you dont swap the whole assembly including struts... then it matters... ef and da rear struts and lca's are wider than eg/ek rear suspensions... not stepping on toes, just sayin :-)

but since you're using dc stuff... they are exactly the same as the eg/ek

Brakes is spelled differently when you break something. Did you skip your entire 4 years of high school?

And why would you pay that much? $250 tops. Your basically paying for half of your so called friends 5 lug swap. I might have 400 into my integra brake set up but that was buying new hubs, rotors, studs!

Didn't see that price tag. Yeah. He's trying to rip you off. What a friend.

Depends on the condition really, it could have new pads/rotors, bearings, etc. We don't know.

I paid less for everything from under a 00 SI, though.

They are the same size, but different calipers.

He has extended spokes on them too. So I guess I'll ask if he would go lower then haha

I judge by the information supplied. If it's faulty or incomplete that's not my fault.

Extended spokes huh? He should charge you extra for that. Not knowing the parts of a car that is.
