Default Control arm question

Hey I had a guy replace the upper control arm on the front passenger side of my 96 honda accord a few months ago. Recently I have been noticing a lot of noise come from that area so I jacked it up and took the tire off to check out the suspension. While doing that I noticed that the nut to the control arm came off at some point. I talked to someone at the auto parts store and they told me that I'd have to buy an entire new control arm to get the new nut. I'm not about to spend all that money when I know I can take one from a local junk yard. I'd rather just purchase a new nut though so I was wondering if there was a specific kind of nut that I would need and what size it would be. To me it looks like an M12.

A nut is a nut. You can order those things all day long or go to your local hardware store and purchase one that fits and make sure to get a new (sp?) cotter pin
