Get an alignment to fix the toe angle that's eating your tires?

A lowered suspension will cause the tie rod angles to change, forcing the front tires to toe-out since the Civic steers from the rear of the knuckle. This needs to be corrected using an alignment, or else your tires will have a very short life span. In moderate toe out or in conditions, the tire wear may resemble camber wear because the tire wear is concentrated on the edges of the tires. In extreme situations, this wear will show up as a progressively worse wear pattern from the center of the tire to the outside.

Lowered tells us it is not stock. How low? And was an alignment performed? What size rim and tire are you using. These all affect how tire wear shows up on your car. An excessively wide tire will show more pronounced toe wear when compared to a stock tire.

Camber kits are a suggestion if you are running an excessively wide tire and rim combination, or if you have an extreme drop. Toe is the most dangerous tire wear angle. Start with that first.
