Hi i have a 99 civic and i lowered my car 3.5" at the front and 2.5" at the back. The thing is i just realised that my back tires are bent in, and everyones telling me i should get a camber kit. My question is what would happen if i dont get a camber kit and get the allignment done instead would it be fine or no?

camber is generally not a tire wearing angle, but if its excessive then it can wear your tires out!

He said it. If it's not terrible then you're fine. But otherwise it can wear your tires out for sure.

if you want to fix the rear camber just do the washer trick and get an alignment.

You put a washer behind each bolt that mounts the rear upper link to your body. It fixed my camber to within factory specs but mine was only lowered 1 3/4". Like everyone says, if you don't fix it you will notice considerable tire wear on the inside of the tire even if you get an alignment. You can get adjustable upper arms to correct the camber too for around $100 but be aware that once you adjust your camber your tires may rub on the fenders. Mine did.

sent you a link VIA pm... be sure you get the right bolts. if that doesnt help then get the skunk2 adjustable rear camber arms.

id get a camber kit, i just got koni/groundcontrols on a few weeks ago and its really low, and i plan to get a camber kit becuase ive heard from many people its the smart thing to do becuase it messes up your allignment and whatnot pretty bad after a while. or something like that i forget what they said, but yeah deffinately get one haha i plan too asap

if the amount of camber is visible, it WILL affect your tire wear. Ask any 350z or G35 owner

Get a camber kit, or RAISE THE CAR!

"slamming" cars is stupid, kills handling, and makes the car dangerous.

When you "slam" the car, you eliminate precious suspension travel. Less suspension travel=horrible ride, dangerous handling!

It may look good, but that's about it.

all show no go FTW lol. it doesnt matter if its slow or handles worse than a bathtub on coasters, as long as it looks good..
