blox lca bushings shot...replace with poly units?
i have blox LCAs on my EF and the bushings where the shock mounts are shot...they didnt even last a year. maybe its my ride height... maybe its the shocks...whatever the case is, theyre done. and im wondering can the energy polyurethane replacement bushings be used? it may have been a mistake, but i already bought them....just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this before i find out the hard way...

well everyone. for reference. the lca kit (for the crx at least) doesnt come with the shock mount bushings thus making my initial post totally worthless. (wtf) luckily i got these poly units from a local speed shop and i can return them.

Polyurethane bushings used in control arms are trash, and will usually end up as trash after a couple years of use or less, as has been shown by several members on this site.

Only true for front LCA bushings, OR, generic replacements. Some manufactures use them in replacement LCAs and have very good success with them, specifically Function7.
