Re: Aftermarket Compliance Bushings?
Very unusual that the bushings would be bad already on an '07; how many miles does she have on the car? Most of the OE bushings seem to last at least 6 years.
There are aftermarket rubber replacements available for the front lower control arm compliance bushings, but longevity and quality is suspect compared to the OE bushings.
I haven't seen a polyurethane replacement for those yet, and I would be hesitant to use polyurethane in that position due to the amount of movement required of that bushing.
Replacement is the old standard "burn/cut 'em out and press the new ones in" procedure. Make sure to mark the orientation of the bushings in the arms before removal, so you can press the new ones in facing the same direction. If you don't have access to the necessary equipment, you can buy the entire lower control arm with bushings already installed from Acura, but they're a lot more expensive than just the bushings alone.
Don't forget to have the car aligned after installation.
