i had rod knock on my gsr, pulled it apart and looks like the crank and block is fine. rods and pistons took the damage.

btw there is a set of GSR rods, type R pistons and arp rod bolts for $150 on ebay

i just decided to keep it. i'm going to take it to Budlongs and have them balance blueprint it with forged internals.. the teg will run with boost again!!!!!!

but man there's a guy selling a gsr full swap with tranny for jst $1000 obo, he says it's in his car and running so you get to check it out

but couldn't you shoot down to las lunas and get the clutch out of your other car in the time that you would be making it look good? we can knock out suspension in no time at the shop. but we can't do much while it's sitting at your house not running.

that other idea today is nothing compared to this one. i mean $1200 for gsr engine to drop in the teg or around the same for balanced/blueprinted turbo ready bottom end rebuild?

well i couldnt find the clutch...i think my brother sold it... and i talked to my buddy today he was going to give me a some what new transmission and clutch for the car but he doesnt want to be my friend anymore
because i couldnt give him a ride today.. so i cant get that **** now
