i got one freshly rebuilt by a honda mechanic. new barings, seals, belts, rings, ect.
it has about 2000 miles on it since the rebuild. it is currently in my car and i will take $4,000 for it. I know it is high but these are great motors and very hard to find in this condition.

 

Damn that is really high. lol. Is that the complete swap or just the long block?

My friend has a short block that i know needs rebuilt. Its all stock, i think it needs a new pistong, ringlands broke.
I personally have a short block that also needs rebuilt
has really low miles, and lots of new parts, just bad luck at the time i guess.

ya but, that is not as much as it would cost to put in a k20 witch is the only other "square" motor honda made.

why would anyone want a low compression b16 motor for 4000 bucks?

 

actually the NSX was America's first DOHC VTEC motor in 1991.

 

if you know any thing about engines then you know what a square motor is. 81bore 81.5stroke

if you want a rare motor, this is the one to have.

 

who cares? its a 9.6:1 compression that makes the same hp as a b16. like i said who would want one for 4000 bucks? I can buy one for 900 bucks right now if i wanted to. get over your "rare" block.

well this is the one that I have, and if someone wants to buy it, I want $4,000 dollars for it. it will have p30 pistons in it this weekend. making the compression in the 11.5:1 range. so, if you have one to sell then let the o.p. know about it, otherwise shut up already. your opinion means dick to any one on this website.

depends on the head gasket. 2 layer = 11.25 1 layer = 11.5
(not that i would do a one layer) but i would consider a spoon 2 layer
which makes it 11.3
