83 Civic S and Wagon in need of home
I have a black 83 Civic S as well as a beige 83 Civic Wagon that are gonna get scrapped soon if I can't find a good home for them. I have clean titles for both, but neither one runs, both have been swapped to 1.8 EK accord engines. The engine in the wagon is locked, but the one in the S should be rebuildable, it turns over and makes compression, but I never could get it to start. Lots of good parts even if you don't use the cars. I also have a weber 32/36 w/ the needed adapter plate for the accord engine. I can get some picks but the cars have been sitting for 7 or 8 years, they aren't very pretty. Cars are located in Greenville, SC. It seems to me that someone would really want the Civic S. They really have to be getting pretty rare, would be a really cool car with a B or D series swap. If I can't find any interests in the cars I am going to have to scrap at least the wagon here in the next week.

Yes, both cars have 5sp. The S has the accord 5sp and the civic still has the original tranny, that was working great when the engine seized. The flywheel had to be modified to mate up to the accord 1.8, but I figured would work with your flywheel.

Pictures? I am really interested in the cars but SC is a long ways from here.
How are the interiors? i would definitely buy the speedo / tach on that S.

realred: I will try to get a few pics sometime, interiors are so so, some things are good, lots of things are old and brittle. If nobody ends up wanting the whole car I can take the tach out.
Antihero: I don't really have the time or place to be able to disassemble anything. If you want the transmission you are going to have to either offer me a lot of money or just buy the whole car.

I guess it depends on what you are gonna do with it. It would be good to at least get scrap value out of it.
