Last year, I traveled with a buddy that had a car tuned on e85. I lent him two 5-gallon gas tanks for the trip, which he only had to use once or twice. There definitely is e85 along the route. Here's a good site for trip-mapping when running e85: http://e85vehicles.com/e85-stations.html


I have tried that before, but it wasn't really all that much of a success.

He did use all 10 gallons, only so we didn't have to stop again. But, it wasn't necessary to be honest.

hhmmm.... i really didn't want to be driving around with 10 gallons of fuel in my car lol but like you said, it wasn't necessary. Maybe i'll bring them just in case.

Did anyone do the Road course last year or any years before?

I plan on doing the road race on sunday and have a few questions....

Well, in order to even drive in to the grounds you need to purchase a pass. However, parking is determined by the guys at each gate. Typically the more expensive/unique/attractive cars end up in the main pit area, but that doesn't always happen. To give an honest answer, its (more or less) first come, first serve for prime parking.


What exactly are your questions? I know a few of the guys who participated last year. I'll (hopefully) have my car in for this year's event, but... I'm not sure if I can afford it, just yet.
