Well looks like my path will go right through checkpoint #3. I will have to double check my times and I might join you guys there. That is if you dont mind rolling down with a half finished crx..haha.

it wasnt hot at all. In fact i was very comfortably suited at this site.
also had a nice lake to go swimming in. It's about 25 minutes south and east of nasvhille. We setup camp friday night, and closed up sunday before heading back into town for the show. No theft to worry about there. It was a pain in the *** to get the car up the graveled area though. But only have to do it once all weekend.

I wouldn't worry too much, because there's going to be a TON of people there. It'd be hard to be caught stealing, when there's over 50 guests there that will be coming/going all day/night. It's always smart to plan accordingly, and have your car secure (alarm, fuel/batt. disconnect, etc...).

ive recruted for sure 2 more, but possibly 4!! so i should be coming to check point one with 3-4 cars i believe if all can get off of work!

this year ill be set on the security end of things.

my car goes in in about 2 weeks of a an alaram with remote pager, i have a cut off switch, i always rock a club on the clutch pedal and a detach wheel!!

Im hoping my stock interior minus gauges will not interest thieves at all. Ill probably throw my club on for good measure and also stick a map on that has zero fuel and timing so the car wont run.

Im going to make reservations tom!! You all staying at that hotel? Also who is buying the walkie talkies?

Nice, Brad. Sounds like our caravan will finally have some substance. Luckily, for those with thirsty cars, there's a gas station on College Ave. about 1 block to the West of the Park and Ride.

I've got some high security stuff on my car as well.

Thats what I need to do before I make the trip down there...have any recommendations on a setup? Looking for something thats pretty easy to install.

I would say a car alarm that has glass sensors and preferably a GPS location device or a pager. Then, get some lug nuts that require keys to open (like "tuner" lug nuts).

It's not a bad part of town, if that's what you're asking. People stayed there last year but the meet was downtown last year, so I didn't.

soooooooooooooooooooooooo, now that the person that was supposed to ride with me has kinda bailed on me to ride which this chick I introduced him to, without actually even telling me ( i found out from the chick) I'm just seeing if someone else wants to ride with me. I'm from Chicago and will be meeting up with the caravan in Indiana.

This is all pending my car being up and running by then. If it's not then I'm riding with someone else lmfao. But, i'll be coming hard for next years IA. :-D

im gettting pumped for this trip...hopefully my car will be ready i got a good list of parts for it that wont be here till that week..hopefully the roads are not bad like acouple last year or youll see me on the side of the road often, i know i cant make it in that parking garage with the sol and the inch and a half clearance from header to the ground
