My engine light is on dont know what can cause it, i have ob2 gsr ecu, but ******* vtec kick in 4.5 isnt it supposed to be kicking in at 5.5? But anyhow when i max it out it doesnt feel that quick, but when vtec controller is in it felt even more stronger. The main thing is that my check light is on, cant be my oil because i changed all of that, coverted all that **** to a gsr ****. What can it be? my car also idle hella high when i start the car. ??? help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee asap, thank and have a great motherfucking day holla!!

 

what code is your ecu throwing. Stick a paper clip into the 2 wire plug in on the right side under the dash of your car. Come back with the code. with the vtec controller, change when vtec kicks in. Of course you are probably loosing power if your vtec is kicking in at 4.5

 

Vtec is supposed to engage at 4400. Thats stock. But yeah you are going to have to run the code. My best senses tell me its a knock sensor. Do you have one hooked up? Probably your problem. It will back off the timing a good amount. If you do't want to go through all that business of tapping a knock sensor you can dummy one in. You just have to ground it and make sure it's not going to be rattling or hitting anything anywhere. Maybe someone makes a knock sensor that won't read detonation. You could also use a chipped p28 obd1 ecu as well. That will eliminate that problem. Thats what I use on my lsvtec.

 

what i noticed is that my first gear is not kicking hard. My friend have a gsr i test drive his car and his first gear pulled hard. My first gear doesnt pull like his, my vtec is fucked, i think the knock senser is ******* up my vtec.
