Default Vtec solenoid

How would i know if my vtec solenoid is burnt out? Would my vtec still engage?

burnt out? please explain.

if your vtec solenoid isn't working properly, vtec will not engage.

If your vtec solenoid if fucked up, You not gonna feel your vtec at all, IF yoour not sure if your vtec solenoid working or not, Try driving fast and see if you can hear vtec kick in, if you dont hear your **** fucked up!!

Vtec solenoids usually dont just burn out, If vtec is not engaging there could be a number of things wrong. What makes you think vtec is burnt out? is it not kicking in as it should? Could be the speed sensor, if its not hooked up correctly. Is this a recent swap, or stock set up?

the only reason i ask is because on another one of my post someone said that the reason that i keep getting a code 22 could be because my vtec solenoid is burnt out
