Default Functional Ram Air

Got the ram air hood in memory of my trans am. However it would be nice if i could say it actualy does somethin... any suggestions on fabricating a funtional intake for the hood?

If you want it functional, be aware that on most cars there is high pressure at the base of the windshield. While the forward-facing intakes look cool they're often in a low-pressure zone. You can see a graphic demonstration of this by watching an in-car video of a car with a fiberglass (flexible) hood. The front half will bow upward (low pressure) and the back half will pushed down (by high pressure.) The only way to find out for sure on your car is by doing some simple aero testing like using yarn tufts.

Of course this won't rate high on the "Honda fashion scale" so you risk being laughed at by your buddies, but your car will also go faster, so decide what's more imprtant...
