Default Ok Really Novice wit Integras, need your help!

Going to buy one (selling the prelude)!!

Alright I want one with a GSR Engine..the few questions I need to be answered are..

Are they very rare?
Any idea on what they run stock 1/4 mile?
Anything specific I should check for when looking at an integra?
What year / model is the best in your eyes?

Really sorry for the rediculous questions but I have never really known much about integras, spent 3 years of my life with preludes :/

Thanks guys

im a fan of the 98+ DC2's because of the body...look even better with OEM kit...

in my area, there is very few GSRs so i would say they are pretty rare...i own one and i dont know anyone else personally that has one in town, although ive seen a few...

A DC2 GS-R should run 15.0-15.9 stock, depending on driver, track conditions, and motor condition.

When I went to the track no GS-R was running faster than 15.6 it was also 120F out...

gs-rs arent as rare as supras or rx-7s, but they are rare enough that you will have to look for them. get obd-1 (94-95 gs-r) because it will be easier to tune in the long run. Also they have the more chiseled headlights.

1992-93 GSRs= very rare, b17a engine.
1994-95= obd1, some say its faster than the obd2
1998-01= better looking front bumper and rear bumper. OEM lip kit looks sick.

Stock quarter mile times: It ranges from 15.5-15.9 depending on driver. I've seen some as fast as 15.1 and some as slow as 16.1, the driver is the biggest factor. But stock quoted times are roughly 15.6 or so.
