vafc need help

Default vafc need help

im trying to wire up my vafc and im reading the instruction book and then checking it with the chilton just to be on the safe side so i dont **** any thing up, but all the wires are different. for ex. the installition will say green goes to vtec soleniod and i look in the chilton and it says the red one is the vtec.

that why you dont use CHILTON...that book is sux....get ur self a factory integra one...use or brand new...but can you afford it?

go to bseries.net they have a vafc install guide, it lists out the wire colors i believe, and remember to hook up that vtm wire....also go to the apex site they have info and updates for the vafc too

Use the wiring diagrams that came with the VTEC controller. It should show pin outs for every type of ECU/wiring harness applicable.

right...so you the green wire from the vafc harness goes with the red wire from your cars harness....its pretty simple install.....took me about 30 minutes. Just use the ecu pinout in the install book from the vafc. Which car is it going in? I did mine on a 95 civic ex. I can tell you exactly which wires went where if you are doing the same car.

The vafc map wire was giving me code 3 and it was hookedup correct, beware

i went to bseries.net and there vafc installation is on a 96 on up and my car is a 95 does that matter.
