Default Breather question.

Ok my car seems to be burning oil. It doesnt smoke or nothing. It just dissapears. I checked for leaks and didnt find any. When i put my Intake manifold on i noticed in the throttle body there was oil. Also there was oil in the runners. I limited it down to oil coming through the breather hose. I was wondering if this could be were my oil is getting consumed. I put on a breather filter and it doesnt have no oil on it yet. I geuss my intake was sucking in the oil from the valve cover. Please help. I would say its burning about 1 quart every 1500 miles. Also i have 225 across the board.

Tis the nature of the beast to eat a bit of oil. Just stay out of VTEC a bit and it should be fine... or get a different motor.

I dont think it does. All it does is helps not running the oil you loose through your engine.

ding ding ding.. for some reason H series engines have a shitty PCV/crankcase vent system.. Seriously after about a 15 minute drive, there is a teaspoon worth of oil in my catchcan..

I put a breather on. I know alot of people dont prefer a breather filter. For some reason i had a bad feeling i was sucking alot of oil into the intake. So far the breather doesnt have no oil on it. I am hoping this slows my oil loss. I just hope this breather doesnt make my pcv line suck up oil. Any input on this would help.
