Anyways, I was changing my oil and I saw this piece missing from my tranny.

Do you think it's o.k. or should I have someone weld it?

It's 96 ITR tranny.

you should JB weld that chit! jk its supposed to be like that. i think it lets the clutch dust come out. correct me if im wrong

Can someone confirm this?

 

My R is like that too! It supposed to be like that, it lets debris get out like fingers and hair.

LoL...they're like that for inspection.

 

it looks like the flywheel/clutch/pp housing like stated above.

 

Leave it alone, supposed to be like that.

Nah, get some of that expanding spray foam and spray the can in there.

(just kidding )

 

just plug the hole up with a screwdriver and some glue.
