Tranny re-installation
Is there a trick to getting the tranny lined back up when you are reinstalling it onto the motor? I am having an awfully hard time and its starting to get frustrating!

I like to lift up the tranny from above the engine bay. This lets me allign the shaft to the clutch by eye, and then wiggle it into position. If you don't get it in the first minute, drop it down and try again. Mke sure the clutch disc is alligned proberly also

Re: Tranny re-installation (Emerika)
The clutch is definetely aligned properly, but I dont have the necessary means to lift it from above. I have a couple of floor jacks, 2 hands, another pair of hands on the way, and a few jack stands.

No trick really... if you have two hands get one below and one on top and wiggle wiggle wiggle.... won't need to take as many breathers with two people, so that helps keep it less frustrating.

I just use hands and lift from above. No special trick.
OR
You can throw the tranny on a floor jack and jack it up to the prper level, and then use your hands and wiggle into place

Oh...you need to put the tranny on a jack...lift it up, align the dowel pins...kinda push the tranny onto the motor...then start threading the bolts and bolt it in
