What axels and engine do I have in my civic???
ok I'm a dumbass. I just bought this 97 honda civic ex but I dont know what engine is in it. Can some one help me out. Also does my car have ABS? I just need to know what kind of axels to buy from autozone. When it comes to civics I know nothing about them. I know a lot about integra's though so some one please help me out. Don't make fun of me.

i highly doubt you got ABS. if you do you should be able to see it in the engine bay. i think thats all you gotta tell em is that if you have abs or not and there should only be one kind of axle thatll work then.
97 civics dont come standard with abs so itd be pretty rare that youd have it, but like i said, just look inside your engine bay for it. it should be pretty obvious if youve got it or not

EX's have optional ABS. When you stick your key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" (II) position, there will be an ABS light on the dash if you have ABS.

i thought that was only with 92-95 civics. i guess not then. Another way of telling is pop your hood and look for some orange plugs on the fender.
