well when i drive for awhile maybe a couple miles around town and i come to a stop i put the car in neutral and the thing goes strait down to 500-400, the car starts really shaking, when it goes down to 500-400 i here this loud hissing sound , but i cant really tell if its a vacumn leak or not cuase my intake hiss's real loud :/


i replaced the fuel filter still does it, the map sensor still does it, i notice also when putting the car in neutral that it'll go down a little then catch at 700,

i have a d16z6 fresh wires/cap/rotor/plugs

 

i was getting a map code so i replaced the map sensor, the fuel filter needed replacement anyways so i went ahead and replaced that.


i was hoping the map was the problem

 

check the evil fast idle valve, which is a sketchy little mechanism, also the eacv. the throttle cable tension, vacuum leaks. good luck, i know idle problems are vey f*cking annoying.
