Default Turbo Problem with my black 93 VTEC turbo'd h22a1 lude

I turbo'd my 1993 black VTEC 4th gen lude a couple of weeks ago, and it was a bitch! and **** Turbonetics and they fitment and instructions. but anyways, The kit is awesome, The turbo is a t3/t04 Ball bearing!!!! can't beat it ANd the intercooler is a wave spearco! great and its a really good quality kit, but it was impossible to install and i had to cut frame and weld this and that... but it was worth it jsut cuz its a great kit... anyways now i need help from anyone with turbo'd hondas

The kit came with two additional injectors that go in the piping into the throttle body, for extra fuel, and use with the stock injector, so ur using the stock 4 injector and two lucas 440cc injectors in the piping, and a MF2 injector driver controls it. well i can't get it to work and has been giving me so many problems i said **** it and put on an FMU and am jsut using the stock injectors. I thought that would fix my fuel problem. But it still does fuel cut off and goes extremely!!! lean in VTEC, and over all feels like im destroying my engine
I am curious to know how to fix my fuel problem, or if it could be any other problem with my eng. or turbo kit. keep in mind i have kept very good care of my car and engine so i doubt its that and have checked the turbo and kit over and over again. I am convinced its a fuel problem, but im all ear and need help! I want my baby to scream again! and would love to acutally be able to floor it again, im driving around at half throttle or less so i don't get fuel cut off.

WHat do u think the problem is and how can i fix it without getting hondata, i gots no more money after the kit. I installed a 12:1 vortech fmu and walbro 255lph pump, and i think larger injectors would help but whats ur opinion, Please help me and my babay!

You may need fuel regulator, like me, I get 93 build H22A1 turbo too, but I have 750 cc injectors and walbro 255lph pump and hondata. But when I dyno it, they told me I need fuel regulator, I am getting that and I will see if it solve my problem. What kind of Turbo kits do you have? I have stage 3 Dreg turbo kit and it comes with fuel regulator but I thought I don't need that since I got big injectors, but I was wrong.

You get 3 chases:
1. Get it dyno and see what they say
2. Buy fuel regulator, but it may not work for you
3. You might save money and buy Hondata later.

The best option is #1, I think……..

kool i think thats a great kit. i'm getting one for my h23 some time in the future. is their service and shipping good?

and will oversized injectors hurt or help you or just be okay until you are pumping large amounts of fuel and boost?

i dont see why you need a different fuel reg. I am running a stock reg with a aem rail and 750 rc inj. and my car made 503 whp @17.5psi with no problems. The smartest thing to do is get bigger injectors and some way of tunning the motor.

If you went with the fmu setup, you'll definately need a fuel pump that can handle the extra fuel pressure. Stock honda fuel pumps are good to around 70 psi. If you're using an 8:1 fmu and boosting around 7 psi, you'll be at around 100 psi of fuel pressure, so if you're not using an inline or intank, I can almost bet my car that you're going lean because you don't have a good enough fuel pump. Hope that helps, also, I would ditch out on that and run uberdata. Get rid of the fmu, extra injectors etc and just get a set of dsm's (cheap cheap) and a p28 and get rid of your secondary butterflies. If you can sell your fmu and extra injectors and mf2 controller, that would prolly pay for everything else. I was using the dsm 450's uberdata on a p28 and running 7 psi on a base map and the car ran better than it ever did on the fmu setup!

EDIT: FYI, I too am running an h22a1, but no ball bearing turbo!

Get rid of the fmu and get a 1:1 regulator, larger injectors, and something to tune it with. If you plan on boostin it under 10 lbs of boost 550cc should be okay, but if you're going to boost it more get some 720cc. The two extra injectors provided with your kit can help but they won't get fuel to your cylinders evenly like larger injectors will.
I'm selling my turbo stuff (not legal in Cali now that I've moved) so if you're interested I'll sell you some 720 rc's for $200, and I've got a aeromotive 1:1 fpr that I'll sell for $125.
