Default Crower 1.8L to 2.1L stroker kit

I was wondering what power gains I could expect from increasing the displacment from 1.8 to 2.1 with the Crower kit. Is it reliable? Would it be compatible with turbo kits made for 1.8L engines? I would appreciate any response.

I believe it increases your stroke to 95mm. Which does NOT make for a high-rpm engine without some major block reinforcement.

Very bad idea to stroke a B-series honda. It'll give you a horrible rod ratio and hose your high rev reliability.

That said, with a resleeved block and a crank girdle I figure you should be able to rev that stroker kit to 8000-ish RPM.

Yep, with the 95mm crank your rod ratio goes to sh*t.

I'll agree with MFB about this one. Sleeve it, and toss in a block girdle for good measure if you don't have one.

Personally, if I ever go for more displacement I'd resleeve at a bigger bore and keep my rod ratio the same as stock.
