Hey i just installed my h22 back in my car after having it fully rebuilt all motor... i dubble checked that all the sensors and they were all pluged in and i checked all the vacume lines too and they were all properly conected.

Here is my problem i started it up for the first time and it fired up first time but i let it run for a few secs and then it started to rev to about 3000 rpm then fall all the way down to the point were it almost stalls but everytime it dropped it gave me an engine light and it went out when the revs shot back up...and it did that about 3 or 4 times then the car just stalled.

Can anyone help me out with any suggestions or has anyone had the same problem

What is "built full motor?"

Any engine management?

"lean-miss" sounds?

IM/TB adjustments?

 

fully built
- type s pistons
- skunk2 valve train
- skunk2 stage 2 cams
- port & polish
- 5 angle valve job
- crank micro polished
- everything blueprinted & balanced

and no real engine management right now just a fpr but soon to go with hondata

do u think it might be the icv or tps or even the map sensor

 

Lots of stock preludes have this problem. It is usually the egr valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation).
