Hmmm? What about some nitrous.
Well guys I've been really thinkin about this and I kinda want to put a 50 shot(dry shot) on my S. Does anybody have nitrous on their s2k, and if so did you like it. What do yall think. Yay or Nay. thanx.
I'm one of the "blown engines" mentioned above. 75 shot with mom behind the wheel is.....well, no good. Check out S2ki.com and be sure to do your research...if you do blow your motor, I know where you can get another one.

i suggest not going the dry tap way. you have a higher chance for detonation. i suggest if you really want to do nos is to have at least a single fogger. Why? well first with a dry tap you rely on your stock system to compensate for the extra Oxygen molecules from the NO2 with fuel from your stock injectors. if your injectors reach 100% duty cycle ( well with 50 shot it may be okay) the extra oxygen has no fuel to oxidize and it starts to oxidize something else, like metal, or your engine parts! Second the S2K doesnt have a wideband O2 so the ecu cant accurately measure whats lean or rich.
by going with a single fogger or better yet direct port, you can fine tune the NOS by just checking your injectors for color. start with a rich setup then tune down. ease up on the fuel or increase the nos if the spark plugs are black or dark tan. once you hit the tan color at WOT then you are good. if it is white then your are running very lean and you must add more fuel or have less NO2. check your plugs immediatelyl after a WOT run with NOS. like do one pull with nos full throttle, pulll over and check the plugs.
just my 2 cents

no, it's identical to the '00-'03 motors.

I would suggest a dry system for a 50 shot. I was going to put a nitrous system on my S, and had the entire system planned out, and had alot of people on s2ki.com who run nitrous sytems say it was a great system. So here it is-
Zex dry kit @ 50 shot
Denso IK24 plugs
Modifry RPM activation switch (check s2ki.com for that)
NOS fuel pressure safety switch
Then have it tuned and you should have a nice, reliable system on your hands.
