well i have a fresh motor rebuild new rings bearings pistons valve seals..everything..the engine will smoke a lil bit...if the engine is idling for a min or so then u rev it up a lil it will smoke blue but if the engine sits there and idles and u dont rev it it wont smoke...also the engine dosent smoke in boost crusin or anything...its just a regular T3T4 turbo also on 8psi the turbocharger is leaking oil on the turbine side...but not much and it has leaked before this new smoking prob...my compression is good, nice and even all the way across.. turbo isnt very old...and has leaked since it was new...its just im 3 states away from where it was built.. any ideas thanks...

maybe ring gaps are loose, mine are loose on a built motor, does not smoke but the exhaust smell is oil burning, maybe a valve bad

 

i think if it were the rings it would do it all the time...seems how its only a idle/take off prob...im thinking its either the turbo or the valve seals...but im not sure

I concur with that assessment.

Check engine braking oil puffs to be sure its intake valve seals.
