Default B16A or B18B for boost?

I'm preparing to build myself a nice EG for fun and am arguing several aspects on which way to build the car. In the past I've had an LS VTEC N/A setup so this time around I wanna go boost.

My question is this. I wanna keep it plain and simple, custom turbo kit running the same Innovative-61 turbo that the Former Titan Civic use to have. Only thing I am going to do to the block is a block guard, head studs and a thicker head gasket. Planning to run 10psi max on a custom manifold, and bigger injectors.

Which would be better ... long term, and power wise. B16A or B18B?

I'm leaning towards the LS setup, only due to price, tranny gearing and the fact that there is no true replacement for displacement. I've had both motors in my former car before, and I know I'll miss the torque from a B18 if I go B16. However, many people are pointing me towards the rev happy B16 for boost, and saying it will definitely last longer and produce more power - pending tuning.

If someone can post their experiences with their motor setups it would be greatly appreciated. I wanna keep it simple and reliable, it's for fun. I miss having a Honda

Id prolly go LS just because its cheaper and a very boost happy motor. I have a b16 turbo and its extremely quick but sometimes I wish I had some torque down low, before the turbo spools.
