Default Neeed Help with brakes quick!

I replaced my right wheel cylinder both brake lines and bled them but still not getting pressure. I'll get pressure with the engine off but as soon as I turn the engine on there isn't any pressure WTF is up with my brakes? By the way, this is for my 91 Hatch.

did you bleed all the brakes, or just the one corner? no pressure=pedal goes to floor?

thought only had to bleed the ones I worked on? Does the car have to be on? Pedal doesn't quite go to the floor but pretty close. I'll try bleeding them some more.

if that didn't work, you probably need a booster....about $90 for a used one...

NO! His booster is working fine thats why his brake pedal is going down after he starts his car. The only other possibility is the master cylinder could be faulty. I've seen alot of master cylinders **** the bed after they have been "flushed" due to the fact that the only thing keeping them going was the gunk built up around the seals. First things first, bleed the system completely and correctly!

I had to replace my rear left side cylinder also. After countless hours of bleeding with two different procedures. I had pedal feel liek you then when the car went on down went the pedal - basically resulting in a bad M/C. Might as well get an 88-89 Accord LXi M/C if you plan on changing it and that way you are good to go and with a bigger M/C. No ness. reflaring or any crap half the ppl read and write. It's a direct bolt on with common sense. Plus, it's a 15/16 M/C.

Good Day,
RH.

What would be the problem with getting the M/C for the 88-91 Civic? Not trying to be an ***, but what's the difference? By the way, your avatar kicks ***!

The differences between your MC and the accord Lxi MC is the size of it period. The accord one is a 15/16. It's bigger with a bigger valve(right word ?) to flow more brake fluid easier. I only suggested the accord Lxi MC simply b.c hey it's an upgrade and if you plan on getting bigger brakes in the future you are alrdy set and don't need to worrie about your Oem Civic MC going out then like mine did. I have bigger DA brakes up front on my car and when my MC went out b/c it couldn't handle it anymore and of course it was old I went ahead and got the Accord Lxi one and upgraded/put that one on instead. I went to a local junk and picked it up for $20. Bang for your Buck.

Good Day,
RH.

PS. haha thanks I like it too (avatar.)
