I am UK based but its similar to the GS-R in most ways...

I raced around the backroads and have hardly really kicked hard on the car... I found the clutch making a strange noise getting into 1st gear from starting but then went smoothly along the gears...again stoppped and started and same problem... heard odd clutch noises when not even trying to put 1st in (thats only noisey when it is pressed in FULLY), but pushing the clutch down..... went out started the car, no problem, pushed down a few times and it erupted and then went away....

Fluid levels are perfect in the small container that says dot 3 or 4 which is for the clutch ... it is a hydraulic one... AM I STEWED is this going to COST me the moon?

What have I done to her.....

Step 2 If that is not the problem, place your foot on the clutch pedal and begin to depress the pedal. If you begin to hear the noise at this point, the problem is the clutch release bearing. If not, proceed to the next step.

 

i would take it to a shop and have them check it out.
perhaps maybe take it directly to a honda dealership and have a honda mechanic drive it. if anyone knows, it would be him

 

I shall....Honda locally are not very good as they dont sell these Imports....but I know a specialist who only deals with these who can have a go at it....

today I am going to get the Teg looked out.....to ssee what/how much it will cost to get the clutch fixed..I think its the thrust bearing or else..... clutch worn out which can be fixed easy......

before the problem occured, did the clutch feel soft? if it does, imo, replace the clutch while ur at it becuase since you have to pull the tranny off. and check the flywheel too. ususally if u buy a clutch kit, it comes with the plate, disc, poliot bearing and throwout bearing.
