B18C Clutch Problems... Please Help
I recently bought a 98 DB8 with a B18C in it and it feels like the clutch isn't fully disengaging. When I am stopped and the car is in gear with the clutch is pressed down to the floor the car will shake as if it is trying to creep forward and when I am shifting I have to force the car in and out of gear. Now my question is, will bleeding the clutch line take car of this and if so does anyone know if gravity bleeding works or is it just easier to bleed it the old fashioned way? Thank you in advance.
i think bleeding the clutch will get rid of the problem.
last month, my brother's prelude had the same problem and we bled the clutch and it didn't work. but after a mechanic readjusted the clutch, we then bled it again and then the problem went away. The reason why the mechanic readjusted the clutch is because air kept gettin back into the system because of bad adjustment of the clutch. but if you dont have the clutch adjustment problem, then bleeding it should fix the problem.
