incident at oakland runs
So i pulled out my friends good ol'
90 dx hatch with b16a
aftermarket restricted muffler
We were running a msd 2-step setup,
as i was pulling out to line up
i was in 1st gear while holding the 2-step
(set up at 3k rpm)
i released it to take off to the line
*POP* sounded like a big backfire
suddenly "MMMMMmmmMMMmmmM"
sounded like i was running straight pipe
I knew i blew something and it wasn't good.
After the race (i won) i pulled over to check out what i blew.
Looked under the hood, everything was fine.
Went behind the car and the muffler can was hanging pretty low.
OPPS! I BLEW THE MUFFLER!!!!

the STI friends broke his oil pan on the top of the bridge on 23rd.
so we had to wait at the gas station untill a tow truck came.
if you saw the flat black EF roll with the STI, that is the one i blew the muffler, on tuesday
