Well I finally got rid of my piece of **** Tanabe muffler (which was worse then I thought - check other post)

Installating of the ES muffler took a while...I had to cut the pipe off the Tanabe muffler and me and a friend welded the pipe as well as the hangers to the ES muffler. It was a pain in teh *** cause the ES muffler "material" is VERY thin...and the welds kept melting through! We finally devised a bracket and got it to work...that badboy isnt coming loose anytime soon thats for sure!

The other concern is the "outlet" of the muffler. On the Tanabe muffler...the tip was offset to the left quite a bit...to match the opening of the bumper...but the ES is right in the middler...Ill have to find a tip or something to get it to exit correctly.

Now for the sound...
It kicks ***! Seriously..I dont know if its because my Tanabe was broken and sounded like ***...but the ES is very deep...there is not one hint of raspyness. The muffler is also very quiet while crusing...and when you step on it it gets somewhat loud but not annoying loud...just deep.
At idle...my lope is way more clear and louder then before...sounds dope as hell!

what else you got on your setup? everyone seems to say they're quiet but mine is pretty damn loud.. jdm itr 4-1's, catco cat, and madrel bent tanabe 2.5" piping mated to the es.. trying to figure out how to fab up an itr muffler to work on my hatch to quiet it down..
