the ground wire going to the engine
Whats it for and what happens if you dont have one. I have noticed that i was missing that ground wire from members posting their of their engines. I was wondering what it did, and if I needed to replace it asap...
The big one down by an engine mount, or the little one from the valve cover, or the cluster of wires grounded at the thermostat? They sorta share the duty of completing the ground side of any circuit to the engine. Lose the big one & the current from the starter might burn up the little one. Lose the little one & maybe get some subtle flakyness in engine control. Lose any of the ones at the t-stat & you'll lose whatever circuit it belongs to...
yea its the one going to the valve cover from the front of the Engine bay, where can I find an aftermarket ground, and I am assuming its not to expensive.

They don't do any good unless your stock ones are screwed up.
