broken bolt on thermostat
1995 Honda civic si
I was cleaning the ground wires today in the engine bay, when I got to the thermostat housing, I tried to unbolt the ground wire bolt, and it snapped, where can I reconnect the ground wire to?, It seems I cant start the car now, " no start, many clicks" I can hear the clicks coming from under the dash, near, the fuse.
halp plz

Re: broken bolt on thermostat
Those wires ground the ECU system, so it is definitely not going to run without them. You can ground anywhere on the engine. I would not use the valve cover because it isn't really grounded. Simplest thing may be to unscrew one of the bolts that hold the thermostat housing to the engine and attach wires there. Whatever you do it needs to be solid because the engine will not run without them securely grounded.

Re: broken bolt on thermostat
I tried adding a ground wire to it, to make it longer, so I can reach something I can attach to, but I will dick aroud with it tomorrow. its already dark, and I cant see. just wanted to make sure that I can relocate from the housing
