If it was ur O2 the car would be running really bad. Mine just went and it made my air/fuel ratio gauge go to lean all the time and was tricking my computer that i wasnt getting enough fuel to my motor or supercharger and it was also blowing black smoke out. The one for a teg is $360 at advance but i heard one from a 92-95 civic ex will work and its only $64.00 and i used one from a civic and my car runs better

1st check to see what code ur engine is throwing. u need to reach under the passenger side kickpanel (right in front of the passenger door, right above the ECU) and pull down the green rubber thing that holds a 2 wires attached to a plug. take the plug outta the green rubber and place a wire inbetween the plug in order to connect both wires. now turn ur car to the on position and the CEL will start to flash. a long flash is the first number of the code and a short flash is the second number.
example 1: long long long long long long short short short shot short is code 65
example 2: long flash is code 10
example 3: short short short short is code 4

theres a sticky in this forum that list all the codes. if u have a bad O2 sensor then it will be code 60 something i think

if the O2 is bad, just get a bosch universal 4 wire 02 sensor from autozone. mine cost 60 bucks. but ur gonna have to wire it urself which is really easy to do. it comes with instructions, so dont worry too much
