Power shifting from what i know is when u shift without taking your foot off the gas, just push the clutch in and shift fast but never taking you foot off the gas.

Don't know if it is called power shifting but what you are talking about is when you rev match the gears. You just pull it out of the gear you are in at the right rpm then get the rpm just right again to put it in the next gear. Waste of time but it's possible.

rev matching and powershifting are different animals.

rev matching or double clutching is associated with road course, twisties type racing/ driving.

powershifting is for drag racing.

ovbiously, you dont need the clutch to shift at anytime....of course you also dont HAVE to breathe.....when it comes to even "aggressive" daily driving, even if your being a mad tyte str33t rac3R, theres no reason not to use the clutch
