Default Turbo'd speed shift or power shift?

At the track should i be speed shifting or power shifting??

with a turbo...don't let off the gas between shifts (especially if your running slicks) if your running street tires you'll wanna lift on the 1st to 2nd shift and gauge how much wheel spin 2nd to 3rd ...oh and the size of the turbo will play a roll in how much more effective not lifting will be...big turbo = longer to build boost etc...

heres a vid of me shifting....listen to the shift as opposed to seeing it...the camera is pretty bad....also watch my foot...its a pretty good technique...

Here is a video of me @ the 1/8 mile track here. No traction in first gear on ~12 psi w/ 24.5x8x13" MT slicks. I dont let off the gas.

don't know why it would mess up the turbo... only thing i can think of is that it would eat up synchros quicker.

Its almost impossible not to hit the rev limiter in 1st with boost. Hitting the rev limiter is not a good thing, but I have had no problems with 50+ times hitting the set limit of 7800rpms with a stock ls head If you shift before you hit the limiter in 1st you will end up bogging in the beginning of 2nd and lose precious 1/10ths of a second.
