B16 cams VS 97 GSR cams... differences
one of my buddies did swap over from his b16a1 cams to stock GSR cams and did notice better mid range & some topend.
he has a b16 with jrsc at 8psi

it is an auto b16, but i am going to swap out springs/retainers/valves soon i hope. i would like to go turbo, but not until i get it in a car
What valve seat pressure should i look for? i found a kit on ebay with valves, springs, and retainers for $452 made by KMS. Thanks

Considering 1st gen B16 cams are the least agressive of all B series VTEC cams, you'll notice a good difference with GSR cams, but instead you should get some CTR or 00+ ITR cams.
With my setup i'm running a CTR intake cam and a Civic Si Exhaust cam.. seems to be working pretty well.

you will get no gains from the gsr cams the durations and openings are idnetical on the first gen b16 as they are in the gsr. if you were lookin for cheap the 2nd gen b16 cams intake duration is larger. but your best bet would CTR cams or ITR

The only stock set of cams that you will feel a difference with are ITR/CTR cams, IMO.

Yeah, i think these cams are perfect for a street/track B16A. If you can find them used-cheap, go for it. Otherwise, you may want to go Skunk2 or something with a little more duration/lift.
