Default b16 vs b18c cams

this may be a dumb question but i just wanted to know, i have both cams i have a gsr motor in my car right now and i have some b16 cams in my room. does the gsr cams give more performance than the b16 cams?

They (GSR's) have higher lift and longer duration. Usually that translates to more performance (like, always).

lets just say that you should only use b16 cams if they're the only thing you got available and you're scraping the bottom of the barrel of your funds. I strongly recommend at least using a cams that came out of a manual transmission GSR. If you can up the valve train to type-R you can do type-R cams.

I reccomend just saving up and buying a good set of cams with their matching valve train.
