gsr cams in turbo b16
Allright guys i have done a few searches and gotten few definite answers. I was wondering if gsr cams in my b16a with about 10lbs. of boost would be worth doing or should I just save up and get some crower or crane cams? Ive heard that the gsr cams are better for turbo than the type r cams but people have also said that the gsr cams tend to bog down their motor (maybe due to poor timing?). Can someone please set this straight for me and clear up some things?

Re: gsr cams in turbo b16 (B20TURB0)
id say gsr cams also
the b16 makes 160 horse out of the 1.6
the b18c makes 170 horse out of the 1.8
so you would imagine that the cams are designed more for N/A in the b16 which may lead to overlap, which isnt good for turbo cars
ive seen lots of motors with stock gsr cams making over 500 ponies and ive seen a lot less that use b16 cams in that power range....
summary: if you can get them for cheap, do it! if not, do something else...
