I need a ricer Test Pipe

Default I need a ricer Test Pipe

Yeah you read right, but before you jump down my throat just listen. My friend's Random Tech Cat busted and we're in the process of gettin it replaced by RT which btw has been extremely helpful. So while we send hers in to get the credit for a replacement, I need a bolt on Ricer Test Pipe or whatever with O2 bung so we don't throw codes. I tried ebay and used the keywords 96-98 Civic Testpipe, cat converter, cat and so and got no results. It has to be bolt on, anyone have any ideas on where to get one for extremely cheap?

I've already thought of just having a muffler shop make one but they'd need the flanges and I can't send RT back their cat with no flanges. TIA

i see billions on ebay just type in civic cat...i didnt see any cats just test pipes

here's an idea, take it to a muffler shop, have them cut off the flanges and weld the test pipe there and whenever you get the cat back, have them cut off the test pipe and weld on the flanges. alot of work but it'll work

...alot of money too, id be too lazy to do that

i have a brand new ob stainless steel test pipe with 02 bung for 92-00 civic for 60shipped never used.

i have a test pipe. it doesn't sound shitty, except with my stock exhaust it did. but with my vision, it give it a buzzy noise which i like

got mine from here: http://www.kteller.com excellent work, great price, good selection. got it to me in 2 days b/c of the weekend.......try checking them out, offer alot of custom stuff and aftermarket stuff

an exhaust shop will not install a test pipe in your vehicle. If any shop is found to be installing a test pipe/converter bypass of any kind, there is a hefty hefty fine plus they will lose their liscence. The same goes for trying to install a catalytic converter from another vehicle on a vehicle the converter didnt specifically come from (i.e., its still illegal to put a cat from one 95 civic EX onto another 95 civic EX because it isnt from that specific car)

I put a SS Resonator from Toucan Industries on mine.
Didnt change the sound at all, just made it louder.
It may all be mental, but I felt the difference when I put it on.

TommyTom83, I'll hit you up in a couple of days to let you know, def. interested. Did you ever test fit it to see if it was a true bolt-on? Thanks to everyone that responded. Also, I'd go with Kteller but the last time I checked they didn't have bolt-on cat or resonator so...........

Yeah, the title shames me too but it can't be helped sometimes in tight binds.

NA Single Cams with catback and no cat sound like crap. Turbo Single Cams with 2.5" exhaust and no cat = nicest sounding honda ive ever heard.

Okay, but this is on a stock exhaust, she just needs something there while the cat is gettin replaced by RT.

nope never tried it, purchased it from apgperformance, in wooddale il. supposed to fit 92-00 civic's but i sold my ex, and bought an si before i had a chance to put it on... just let me know...
