did a search, couldnt find anything to what i need (it was more specific like JDM header what length test pipe ect).

what is the Stock cat length, flange to flange. or on a test pipe, how long is the actual pipe?

reason: my dads cat on his 93 civic is clogged. his car runs rich (reason for clogging the cat) and needs a test pipe today/tomorrow.
i have 2.5" piping, and i can get flanges from the store. but i dont have his car to know how long to make the pipe. anyone know the length?

i think stock cats are like 17", that's what a friend told me.

you can go to a muffler shop and see if they will sell you flanges... my friend went to one when we made our test pipes...

since you are taking off the stock cat why cant you just measure the length of that?? then if you have the flanges weld one on... line it up.. measure then weld the other one on... you will want to make sure that you weld the second flange on so it corresponds with the exhaust flange... so when you bolt the first side on the other side still lines up right
