Default Tranny problem? HELP ME!!!

The castle nut on my ball joint where the steering knuckle is popped off 8 houses down from my house. The balljoint stud hopped out of its place and caused the driverside axle to break in half. The impact of the drop F#cked up my driverside fender and sideskirt too. Ever since this happened, I can shift into gear without stepping on the clutch when the engine is on, except in reverse. car does not stall or die. The passenger wheel does not move when i try to accelerate. I can do it in all gears with the engine off.

Do I need a new transmission? clutch? I think the impact of the drop pushed the driverside axle into the transmission causing some damage.

So far i need a new driverside axle and steering knuckle ball joint. Im pretty sure i need a new tranny too. possibly clutch. Help me.

HAHA that **** sucks huh? I did a install....and I KNEW I needed a new ball joint... but i just wanted to get the car working right...so i just stuck it together and i was in orlando racing a friends el camino.....spash the gas and i just slide into the center devider.... but ya....just get a new axel.

i know a guy who...when he raced would never smash the clutch after slamming it into first...he sdaid it took too much time to press the clutch...so he just smashed it into each gear. he did **** his tranny up after that though...lol

**UPDATE**

New axle is in. The wheels move, but,.............problem is:

I can still stick it into gear with the engine on. I can stick it in all gears without stepping on the clutch, and then, stepping on the gas, the wheels accelerate. Its like, I dont even need the clutch. Car does not stall or anything. Ive only tried this on jack stands.

Transmission is gone?

usually ur wheels moving would indicate ur tranny works. road test it and ull know, see if it grinds, use clutch and shift normally, just for reference purposes
