ok so i bought this motor off my buddy and he said he just put in a new stg 1 clutch and its a fairly new tranny...well now 3 weeks later after ive installed it, i think the clutch is gone cause you can be chillin ridin down the road then when u give it gas you can rev it up to 6k without useing the clutch.. so today i went to take out my tranny and i see that m axle has grease everywhere and the boot isnt on. could that be the problem why it wont grab? i no i need a new boot but do i need a new clutch?

 

Does the clutch cable need to be adjusted?

 

nope thats fine im jus wonderin can it only be the axle

Usually an axle will cause them not to move at all.

 

its not broken just the axle bootis off and the grease is gone im takin out the tranny now
